Change begins, with the neighbors

Well change does start at home, just this time it did not start at my home. I started off a little spring handyman project run with some work at a near by home. they had a room that was in need of lots of help so we had lots of fun and hours of work to get it up (as well as other projects around the house) in only a week time. after many hours working shopping and pricing things we got a lot done, great people who are doing all and more to get their house up to par to reach their field, putting up with me for a weekend giving up rest days and nights sleep to help me get these things done, thanks to all of you!

Here are some pics.

The room that will become a girls room was top to bottom work with foam tiles and trim for the ceiling, textured paint after sealant on the walls and “click” artificial parquet flooring and trim, new lights and outlets. If you are going to do a job, do it all the way! Thats what I loved about this team, they went 100%, you never get around to it later.

A storage under the stairs, still needs some flooring

One thing they wanted to keep the wall cleaner from little fingers, was a bit different but after doing grooved paneling on the cottage i made I attached these wood panels the same.

Then it was rush home to a completion party for the cottage, i was so tired i did not take any pics but here is one of the cottage complied.

Jezza, you did a fantastic job and we appreciate it sooo much!!! The girls are happily enjoying the room and we feel more confident about the house now that the room is up to par as well as the other areas of the house that you worked on. Thanks heaps!!
